SSCam Season 4 Div B Playoff Preds

For a change div B was actually the more active division this season and thanks to everyone who played their sets. Here we are at playoff time with two spots up for grabs in the prize tourney that will be coming up shortly after this season. Good luck to everyone and congrats for making it this far.

Rd 1 Matchups

#16 Jordanj11 vs #17 Top__Dawg__ - Sterlo finally qualified for some playoff action... big props there. Props also going out to Jordan for making it in his first try. Didn't really think he had it in him. Should be a pretty interesting set here. I'd have to say Sterlo is the better player in this matchup but sets seem to be his kryptonite. Jordan proved that he's no slouch though earning a couple wins in his first time going through the group stage. Not sure that Jordan beat any players of Sterlo's caliber though.

Sterlo 7-4 Result - 7-4 Sterlo

#13 Sweet_Nicki vs #20 king_hustler2004 - Nicki is back into the playoffs in her return to SSCam and is getting absolutely no love with her first round matchup here. King is mostly known for his asswaxing skills just like days of old. Qualifying as almost a pity wildcard King will be one of the top contenders to win div B. Not saying that Nicki has no chance here because she's definitely been improving her game ever since SSCam has started in this lg. Nicki will definitely have to use some patience to have any chance in this set and hope that King leaves her some easy open tables to finish. King on the other hand is a div A player when he's finishing his runs so I think he advances here.

King 7-4 Result - 7-0 King

#12 lvlr.hotty vs #21 l3_lvl_x - We have two pretty good players here who have an outside chance at making a run in these playoffs. Josh had a pretty good group stage as a late entrant with two big wins in his sets. David is pretty lucky to be included here with his horrible win % but he squeaked in as the last wild card. Now that we're into the playoff round none of this really matters much. I predict this will be fairly close set once again with the seedings meaning nothing. David is the stronger player and is getting a lot of experience against top players lately which should help out the strategy game. Josh is a run first player with decent english skills and is a really good banker which helps him finish quite a few tables. If David is on his game I see him moving on but either way Josh will put up a fight.

David 8-6 Result - DQ win for David

#15 Gremlin05 vs #18 showstopper.1985 - Another matchup where its the first time I've seen either name in a playoffs bracket. I was fairly surprised that Fahd didn't do a little better in the group stage as he snagged the last auto qualify spot that was up for grabs by finishing 3rd in his group. I think this is Matt's second time doing SSCam and I seem to remember the first one not going this well. So maybe he's improved his game significantly from when way back when I remember, hard to say. Both players talk a good game and this would be a great time to put up or shut up for everyone's sake. Fahd is pretty new to set play so maybe that would explain some shaky play. If he takes this playoff set seriously and takes his time then I think he will outclass Matt.

7-4 Fahd Result - 7-4 Matt

#14 shweet.shtuff vs #19 shelle4461 - Its been a while since we've seen Shelle in the postseason and she's definitely earned it having probably played all her sets in every sscam since the beginning. Jenni on the other hand is on her first time around in the competition and is looking to make some noise. Shelle definitely has the edge with the strategy in this set as she has played so many sets herself and been there to watch lots of great players in inters. She definitely will safety and has different tactics to use to open up tables in her favour. Jenni sometimes seems like she's playing unconcious just hitting any shot thats there and available. Of late Jenni has improved a lot on her english, banking and just overall shooting and can actually finish off some tables. If Shelle can stick to her guns over the course of this set I think her experience will show in the end but it will be close.

Shelle 7-5 Result - 7-5 Shelle

Rd 2 Matchups

#1 gbwarrior1 vs #17 Top__Dawg__ - Here we have the untested #1 seed Andy, who breezed through the group stage without much of a challenge and Sterlo who is definitely not used to being in this deep. Don't really know too much about Andy's game but it's hard to ignore the stats from the group stage. I think that when Sterlo is on his game he can play with anyone in this bracket and he'll be challenging in this set but I'd imagine he comes up just a bit short in this round. Would definitely like to see Sterlo step it up and play like he can this could be fun to watch.

7-5 Andy Result - 7-2 Sterlo

#8 ll_eskimo_ownage_ll vs #9 dr_papsmear_at_your_cervix - To dub this the battle of guys with long ids would just be silly. So we won't. Both Petey and Adam have earned byes into the second round after posting some pretty good group stages. Last season Petey got screwed out of his playoff match so I'm sure he's eager to finally make his run here. Adam is here in the playoffs for the first time but he's definitely no pushover. Adam was once thought of as crazy banger shooting shots too fast for his own good but he's shown some pretty good overall play of late (probably got tired of losing). I've always considered Petey to be a really good player when he's on top of his game. Whether its killer safeties or wicked pots he has a bigger than average bag of tricks. Definitely give the edge as well to Petey because of his big game experience in inters. Not sure that I've ever seen him go deep in a cam comp but he'll be hard to knock out of this one.

Petey 7-4 Result - 7-2 Petey

#4 xl_bankqueen_lx vs #20 king_hustler2004 - Here is a fairly interesting second round matchup where once again the seedings mean nothing. King was able to advance past Nicki without losing any of the games so it's possible that he's playing pretty well. I still think he's one of the favourites to go all the way but Kerry will definitely be a test in this round. Kerry has been able to compete with good players from what I've seen in this competition and other recent results. Still not always the best shooter but she seems to pick and choose when she runs a lot better than before and might even hold the advantage over King in that aspect of the game. Sometimes strategies make all the difference here so that will give Kerry a chance... I still think King might be too much.

7-5 King Result - 7-1 King

#5 dx.fanatic vs #21 l3_lvl_x - This could be a pretty good matchup here so hopefully it does get played. Both of these players play a similar style where they look for runs first and are both capable of finishing tables. The problem with these players is their lack of consistency so you can almost expect one of them to maybe show up and put together a few terrible games. Luckily its a race to 7 and there's always time to make a comeback. David has been pretty active in all comps lately and I haven't seen Jack at all other than briefly in this competition. While Jack definitely has the skills to pull out this win I think David is overdue for a decent playoff win and I think he might win here with a little margin for error at the end.

7-4 David Result - 8-6 David

#2 zZ_LazyAss_Zz vs #15 Gremlin05 - For Matt's rd 1 matchup there was no clear favourite, however that will not be the case this time. Hani had a great group stage winning every set possible with a fairly impressive win %. Matt definitely showed something by knocking out Fahd and winning it by three definitely but this should be a much tougher challenge. Don't really know too much about Hani's game but from few tourney games I've seen that he likes to run tables (who doesn't). Based off of MCC results too this wasn't any kind of fluke. Hani showed with earning the second seed here that he should contend for the title. Don't see this being a match he can lose.

7-4 Hani Result - 7-1 Hani

#7 PyroOfHell vs #10 total.0verdose - As we venture further into round 2 we come to DJ vs Rahul. One of these guys is going to be participating in the final 8... well good job guys. Rahul has been talking about making a playoffs for like 3-4 seasons now so he's finally pulled that off and with a decent enough seed too. DJ was a playoff qualifier last season but wasn't heard from beyond the first round. Rahul has definitely improved as a player of late with his shotmaking for sure. He's still a little green with safeties which could hurt a little bit but has still added another dimension to his game. DJ has been in the last couple sscams and this one was definiteily his best showing capping it off with a decisive win in the group stage. He's gained some experience of late whoring himself out to interlgs (don't we all). Neither guy has anything overwhelming about their game styles so I'm just going to have to go with my hunch and say DJ pulls this one out.

7-4 DJ Result - 7-3 DJ

#3 FreeJackpot vs #19 shelle4461 - Welcome Bryan to the predictions section in his second round matchup against Shelle. Bryan put together a much better group stage this season and earned a pretty high seed for the elimination round. Shelle definitely showed us something by advancing past the first round with a tight win. It's not beyond the realm of possibility to think that Shelle could keep up and even possibly win this set. Bryan is definitely a better shooter and strategist and his play seems to be a lot more consistent at this time. He should be looking for a comfortable win here with a little room to breathe.

7-4 Bryan Result - 7-1 Bryan

#6 eat_pinaples vs #11 dc_sacha@ymail.com - Not really too sure Hope got such a good seed. I mean she only really played one set... its amazing how those archive wins can pay off in an inactive group. Her one win was 9-0 vs a pretty good player though so I guess that's noteworthy. Sacha has qualified for the playoffs now for the 3rd season in a row. Haven't really seen Sacha about too much lately so not sure what the level of play is going to be like from that end. Hope is pretty confident in the way that she's playing and she's always been a player with great potential so hopefully that's all coming together. Sacha is definitely no slouch but Hope will take this.

7-5 Hope Result - Sacha 7-2

Rd 3 Matchups

#17 Top__Dawg__ vs #9 ll_eskimo_ownage_ll - Sterlo is definitely in unknown territory here, advancing to the quarter-final round in his first forray into the playoffs in any competition. Petey's potentially exciting previous round was cut short early due to boredom, always a great excuse. Sterlo definitely proved that he is playing well with a dominating win over Andy in the previous round but I think Petey will definitely present a different challenge. If Sterlo can somehow win this round then I'll start taking him seriously as a contender for this div B title but I think Petey holds enough of an advantage here skillswise that he should pull it out.

7-5 Petey Result - 7-1 Petey

#20 king_hustler2004 vs #21 l3_lvl_x -

no pred Result - 7-3 King

#2 zZ_LazyAss_Zz vs #7 PyroOfHell - This quarter-finals matchup has a mistmatch written all over it. Hani is now the top seed remaining in the tournament after Andy went out in his first playoff match. DJ wasn't very impressive in making in this far with his win coming against Rahul in the previous round. He's going to have to tighten up his game and not make as many mistakes to have any chance in this round. Hani showed that he's serious about making a deep run here with the 7-1 win in the previous round so its hard to pick against him here.

7-3 Hani Result - 7-3 Hani

#3 FreeJackpot vs #11 dc_sacha@ymail.com -

no pred Result - 7-5 Sacha

Semi-Final Matchups

#9 ll_eskimo_ownage_ll vs #20 king_hustler2004 -

no pred Result - 9-6 King

#2 zZ_LazyAss_Zz vs #11 dc_sacha@ymail.com -

no pred Result - 9-1 Hani

Finals

#20 king_hustler2004 vs #2 zZ_LazyAss_Zz - All the way to the finals we have two players proving they probably should have been competing in div A this season. Up until now in the playoffs Hani has had no trouble at all his closest challenge was a 4 win cushion in the 3rd round vs DJ. King has also been steamrolling through the bracket allowing Petey to come back and make his semi-final set look closer than it might have been. So will one player keep on rolling here or will we finally have a good matchup. I'm going to have to say Hani is the favourite but just barely because I'm much more impressed with the wins King picked up to get here. Both of these players are going to be going for runs and so far it looks like Hani has been more consistent with his game based. King will definitely be no pushover but he'll have to recognize that this will be a much tougher matchup and will require some strategy. Hoping for good things in this final as both players have qualified for the prize trny.

9-7 Hani

SSCam Season 4 Div A Playoff Preds

Ok so once again with a little foreword action here. I'll be the first to say this is the most fucked up playoff bracket in the history of the competition. Because so many sets didn't get played a lot of players were rewarded for getting their shit done. The seedings don't mean too much but we will definitely have a deserving champ crowned by the end of all this. Preds done by Jon(Drunk_Canuck) for the top half of bracket and Cam (legend.skills) for the bottom half.

Rd 1 Matchups

#16 pas_killa vs #17 tonzmaniac - Here is a great matchup if it gets played. Both of these guys can be hard to track down..I could see a potential double DQ here. But if we're talking about just the pool aspect of the match (and we should) both of these players play conflicting styles, both skilled in their own areas. I'd have to say Pascal is the better shot maker and he usually controls his own destiny in sets because it always comes down to whether or not he can finish his runs. Chris is also a pretty good shotmaker, he'll play a little more down tempo and pick and choose when he wants to run. Can sometimes take off a little too early with his runs but always seems to find a way.

7-4 Pas Result - DQ win Pas

#13 aka_hero vs #20 mr_camtasia - This is a marquee matchup in the first round that is a result of the slow season. There's very few people who can keep up with Chris, especially in an elimination game. Kevin is definitely one of those guys. Chris is the defending champ in this competition but ended up with a pretty bad seed just due to being in an inactive group/not taking advantage of the sets that were available. Haven't heard from him lately so we're hoping this can be played too. Kevin plays a similar style to Chris as he has a wide variety of shots to choose from and prefers to run unbelievable tables. Hopefully we can scrounge Chris up so that this set can take place. Can't see him losing rd 1 if he shows.

7-5 Chris Result - DQ win Kevin

#12 n0_0b vs #21 PRO_BOY - Musti was concerned about being in div A at the start of the season but it looks like it worked out ok for him after all. Uriel in his first try at SSCam has qualified for the playoffs with a whopping 3 points. Hard to guage how he's playing based off the group stage but he's always solid. Musti is going to have to stay on top of his game and make sure that he's picking his spots well in this matchup because Uriel will just roll right over him if he's not careful. The seeding in this matchup really means nothing and Uriel just has too much big time cam comp experience to lose this one.

7-4 Uriel Result - 7-4 Uriel

#15 l1_stephen_1 vs #18 __Trav__ - Well this match is hard to decide... trav is clearly the better player.. however Trav doesnt play much anymore.. i think he told me hes going to stick to interlgs.. so i wont be surprised if stephen gets a dq win.... Stephen is a scrappy player.. he always hangs around.... and if you make a mistake he will take advantage and beat you.. im going with an upset pick here.

7-5 Stephen Result - DQ win for Stephen

#10 fv_arctic vs #23 underdogg_ - Chip and Ant are both good players.. this will be a great match to watch.. i like the way chip plays.. knows table runs very well.. very smart player.. but hes going against possibly the best on here right now.

7-4 Ant Result - 7-3 Ant

#14 Drunk_Canuck vs #19 pr0.g0dly - This will be an interesting match.... Mina has shown he can beat top players but hes very inconsistant.. but when hes on.. hes one of the best out there... Jons in the same boat.. great player.. just lacks on consistancy... im going with what some ppl may say is an upset however i dont.

7-5 Mina Result - DQ win Jon

#11 TlNO_NICA vs #22 hp_king22 - I think this will be one of the only ones where i will say its gonna be a blowout.. i do like tino.. classy guy.. very nice player.. he is without doubt overmatched in this contest.. Don is an oldschool player and he seems to have found his form back.

7-1 Don Result - 7-2 Don

Rd 2 Matchups

#1 gg_7balled vs #16 pas_killa - This is a matchup that I don't want to waste too much time predicting because it probably won't take place. I would like to predict though that if it were to take place that Pascal would probably rise to the occaision and bring out a classic Craig style meltdown in the process with some lucky bangs. But really, haven't heard from Pas in a few weeks and he's only here because Chris gave the win.

Pas 7-5 Result - DQ win Craig

#8 mvp_adept vs #9 ll_chex_ll - A sneak peak at round 2 here. Joe had an undefeated group stage, unforutunately only with 3 games played to explain the seeding. Didn't really blow anyone out of the water but had solid results against good competition. Luiz on the other hand had a pretty average group stage with a couple decent wins. This could go either way as both players can bring it at a high level when on their game. From what I can remember anyways Joe likes to run a little more than Luiz but he probably has a better safety game when he chooses. Luiz definitely likes to pick his spots for runs and sometimes can lose focus with what he's doing with his safety game and give away easy games. Haven't really seen either of these guys to see how they play lately (we all go through stages). I think Joe has a better chance to advance to the final 8 in this competition.

Joe 7-5 Result - 7-3 Luiz

#4 ya_maybe_bro vs #13 aka_hero - This should be a pretty good matchup between Matt and Kevin. Not too sure if Matt will be doing much trash talking in this game because Kevin is the most recent 8brcam champ and will definitely be playing some good pool. Matt has put together his second pretty good sscam group stage in two tries and is looking to make it 2 for 2 as well in deep playoff runs. Matt's run game definitely gives him potential to take down any opponent but I believe over the course of a race to seven Kevin might be too much to take down here.

7-4 Kevin Result - 7-0 Kevin

#5 __imaj__ vs #21 PRO_BOY - Yet another matchup where we can throw seedings out the window. AJ might appear to be a big favourite with his 5 seed here but that would definitely be misleading. AJ sort of lucked out winning his group because of how few sets were played, normally 3-2 doesn't win. Uriel on the other hand was in an even less active group and was the last direct entrant into this bracket with 3 points. Uriel definitely showed us something with his domination of Musti, 7-3 in the last round. AJ is probably better prepared to play vs Uriel in this matchup and definitely has a chance to win but I would still say its a slim chance. Uriel's big game experience and shot making ability will be the difference in this set.

7-4 Uriel Result - DQ win Uriel

#2 i.am_the_zodiac vs #15 l1_stephen_l - This has potential to be a decent matchup for round 2. Chirag and Stephen were both vocal about finding some sets to play during the group stage so I'm hoping they can find each other to get this one done. I haven't seen Chirag play in a while but any time he surfaces to play in comps he seems to do very well. Stephen is a pretty good player too. He's no stranger to the playoffs but he's definitely not used to making long playoff runs. Both players have all around games they can use but Chirag will be more consistent over the course of this race.

7-4 Chirag Result - 7-3 Chirag

#7 nick_a_dick vs #23 underdogg_ - Nick definitely got a rough draw here. Would probably have hoped to avoid an opponent of this quality until maybe round 3. Definitely throw the seedings out the window in this matchup because most people would say that Ant is the favourite here. He's not the overwhelming favourite as he was vs Chip in the last round because Nick actually does pose a real threat in any matchup. Nick has proven recently that he can knock off top notch players and he's looking to add Ant to his list. I'd say it's more likely that Nick is just able to keep this set close.

8-6 Ant Result - 7-2 Ant

#3 s.lacka vs #14 Drunk_Canuck -

no pred Result - 7-4 Jon

#6 safdarbandali vs #22 hp_king22 - Don vs Safdar should be a set with a lot of table running and wild shots. Safdar was able to put a pretty good season together and is into the playoffs for the first time in this competition. From set to set its hard to tell what you're going to get from the guy but he's definitely capable of scoring a win in this matchup. Don is always a run first player and his consistency is a much less in question that Safdar with recent deep runs in comps. After squeaking into the playoffs Don figures to be one of the favourites to at least make a deep run here. Even though the seeding says otherwise I'm going to pick an upset here to spice things up.

Safdar 7-4 Result - 7-4 Don

Rd 3 Matchups

#1 gg_7balled vs #9 ll_chex_ll - Both players here are no strangers to being in the final 8 players remaining of a cam comp. I think the start to this set... or any set where Craig is involved is key. Craig definitely has a tendency to go for spectacular runs when he feels that he's the favourite in a race so how that works out early on can be the difference. If Craig gets off to a good start it could be a blowout pretty easily. Luiz on the other hand is no slouch and could potentially keep up with Craig. Not sure that his safety game is quite up to par with Craig though. This should be a pretty good set, could really go either way but I think Craig will pull it out in a close one.

7-5 Craig Result - DQ win for Craig

#13 aka_hero vs #21 PRO_BOY - Here we have a re-match from a recent MCC playoff matchup where Uriel actually came out on top in a matchup with Kevin. If I had been making a prediction in that matchup I would have definitely said Uriel had no chance but now that I've seen he has won definitely makes me think about it again. Once again though Kevin is on another level and because of the previous match I'd have to say if anything there will be some kind of a revenge factor here. I think Kevin will come into this matchup with a rock solid strategy ready to deal with Uriel's sloppy runs. I guarantee Kevin will grab a spot for the semi finals.

7-4 Kevin Result - 7-5 Kevin

#2 i.am_the_zodiac vs #23 underdogg_
- Well now that we're in the quarter-finals no one can complain about getting bad matchups... right? So far Chirag is probably the player best equipped to be able to handle a set with Ant so hopefully Ant's streak of laughers will end here. Chirag has a rock solid game and turns his game up into spectacular mode when necessary. Ant on the other hand has been here before in just about every competition he's been in and will be favoured to advance beyond it here again. Ant's wide variety of skills can be troubling to players who play more one dimensional styles but I think Chirag has what it takes to put up a fight and maybe even has an outside chance of coming away with the win.

8-6 Ant Result - 7-2 Ant

#14 Drunk_Canuck vs #22 hp_king22
- Well as of right now I feel as though these two guys are the strongest in cam comps today. As of late, Jon is 6-0 in MCC in a very tough group, but thelast time I played him his power and english were a little shaky although he did beat me 5-4. Don has been making it to the latter part of playoffs in 8brcam, MCC, and SSCAM. I haven't seen his form deteriorate and he almost never gets his cage rattled. Look for each guy to run a lot of tables and toughsnooks are no problem to get out of. Depending on who brings their 'A' game will determine this set. A few mistakes for either player will prove to be very costly in this runner vs. runner matchup. As consistent as he's been for quite some time now, look for Don to make a few less mistakes and edge out Jon.

8-6 Don (by Chip)

This will be a great match to watch.. Jon is playing phenominal at the moment.. and Don from what ive seen... he isnt been playin that great.. ive seen better days out of him ill tell you that.. i do think don will show up for this match... but at the moment jon seems to be running everything right now.. so im going to go with Jon winning this in Extras.

9-7 Jon (by Cam) Result - 7-2 Don

Semi-Finals

#1 gg_7balled vs #13 aka_hero -

no pred Result - 9-7 Kevin

#23 underdogg_ vs #22 hp_king22 - Another fine example of how the seedings really meant nothing this season. We have two of the top players in the competition who scraped into the playoffs and are now facing off to see which one will be a finalist. Don has a recent history of going deep into the playoffs of cam comps and getting over this hurdle would be a nice accomplishment. Ant had some pretty questionable results in the group stage but hasn't given up many wins at all in these playoffs. Don's run game will have to be very tight to have a chance in this matchup because Ant won't be making errors on open tables. Before Ant's domination of Chirag I would have been inclined to maybe go for Don in this matchup but I think Ant might be a little too much.

9-6 Ant Result - 9-5 Ant

Finals

#13 aka_hero vs #23 underdogg_ - Ok so we've finally gotten to the finals and arguably the two best players in the field have managed to scrap their way to the final race. Ant has returned to the finals in consecutive seasons with relative ease with no one really coming close in a race. Kevin was tested a couple times with Uriel and Craig but advanced with superior play. This should be a pretty good final set with Kevin being one of the few people in the field who can run and safety with the same quality as Ant. Lots of great shots will be hit in this race and the winner will be the player who is more timely with thier quality. Hoping this is close really either player could blow it out... will have to give a close score.

10-8 Ant

SSCam Season 3 Div B Playoff Preds

Ok so if you read the div A preds I already said that was what I was looking forward to the most but this is definitely what I was looking forward to second most. Pretty small field in our first season with split divisions but everyone who qualified has some potential. This is your opportunity to play your way into Div A for future seasons as well Div B offers 2 qualification spots into the Prize Tourney to the finalists. Yatta yatta a chance to win 100 dollars in that invite only tournament. Top half preds were done by myself (Jon, Drunk_Canuck) and the bottom half were done by AJ (__imaj__). Good luck guys

Rd 1 Playoff Matchups

#8 xlx_whatwhat_xlx vs #9 FreeJackpot - This should be a pretty interesting matchup between Wes and Bryan. Before the season had played out I would have definitely had Bryan as a big favourite in this matchup but Wes showed that he can compete in sets with good players. In fact Wes was able to beat Bryan in that very group stage in a close 5-4 result. While the seeding would indicate Wes is the favourite in this matchup I think in this knockout round Bryan's experience in pressure games will be the difference. No easy task for the winner as AJ is waiting in the next round.

7-4 Bryan Result - 8-6 Wes

#5 astro61200 vs #12 THEFOOL13 - In the first round this is definitely the biggest mismatch. Probably biggest in all of the playoffs. DJ was able to squeak into the playoffs on one win because of his group's lack of activity. Scott has shown some good form by qualifying well for playoffs in this competition and 8brcam's div B last season. With his only loss coming to the #1 seed in the playoffs Scott should be liking his chances to make a run here. Not too much to say about DJ. He's had back to back poor group stages in the previous two seasons without any good results. This one could be close but not likely.

7-3 Scott Result - 7-3 Scott

#7 dc_sacha vs #10 Top__Dawg__ - I see this match as being probably one of the only close 1st rd matchups. While it was easy to predict these two making playoffs, giving either one the advantage just isn't that practical. I forsee lots os mistakes and missed opportunities for both. Heads for Sacha, Tails for Sterlo...

Sacha 7-4 Result - 7-2 Sacha

#6 skilled_banger vs #11 ll_eskimo_ownage_ll - This has the potential to be a great matchup with both players having done good in 8brcam in the past with Musti winning last season's Div B. Petey is Div A caliber so this will be a good transition for Musti to see where he stands in the lower half of Div A quality. With that being said, Petey has always been an above average players but has been incognito, or so it seems, recently. I doubt that has dampered his ablities. However, Petey only completed 1 set in the group play so that does make this interesting.

Musti 9-7 Result - DQ win for Musti

Rd 2 Matchups

#1 __imaj__ vs #8 xlx_whatwhat_xlx - Finally after a bit of a wait we get to see div B's number 1 seed in action. That number 1 seed is AJ (holds for applause)... and he'll be facing off against SSCam first timer Wes. In the last matchup for Wes I argued that he was up against someone with more cam set experience. He showed that's he's got some decent composure by hanging in tough against Bryan in 14 games. AJ is definitely on a different level from Bryan so this set shouldn't play out the same. AJ has been playing in cam comps steadily from before I even started on the circuit and he's had the chance to play against just about everyone. AJ definitely holds the edge in this matchup because he is just overall more skilled. He can be prone to an awful set though so there's an outside chance for Wes to continue his run into the semi-finals.

7-4 AJ Result - 7-3 AJ

#4 true.scrub vs #5 br0nz3 - Div B heats up right off the bat with this matchup between David and Scott. Both players are here by no fluke with David qualifying in the general field last two seasons in playoffs and Scott showing he's still on form with his recent 8brcam div B playoff run. Both players are looking to show they belong in the competitive Div A. Unfortunately only one of the two can advance beyond this point. Scott is definitely the more experienced player but David is no slouch at all. He's been figuring this game out pretty quickly and he's ready for a breakthrough on the cam comp scene. A trip to the semi-finals here would go a long way towards that but I think Scott is too focused and will be too much in this matchup.

7-5 Scott Result - 7-4 Scott

#2 fv_arctic vs #7 dc_sacha - This should be a pretty interesting matchup between Chip and Sacha. This is Chip's first go around in SSCam and he's intent on proving that he's division A material. His season stats were second best in the field of 24 so now all that's left is to show up in the playoffs and take care of business. Sacha is a less experienced player who is still relatively new in cam comps. He's definitely faced better players in past SSCam playoffs so I think his chances are better than in previous seasons. In a race to 7 the better player in this matchup will win out but don't expect anything to come easy.

7-4 Chip Result - 7-4 Chip

#3 xlxkavinxlx vs #6 skilled_banger - Two players who might have preferred to start off the season in Div A are now meeting up in the quarter-finals of Div B with only one getting a chance to move on to try to take the title. Musti is the reigning Div B champ in 8brcam so there's definitely a lot to be said for that. Musti is by no means out of Kavin's league and even though his name might be known a little more around yahoo I think Kavin has a great opportunity to represent his #3 seeding well and move onto the semis. Hopefully this set can get played because Musti's first round was a headache. Hard to pick between either of these two but I'll have to give the edge to Musti. Great opportunity for Kavin to show he belongs though in this matchup.

8-6 Musti Result - 7-2 Musti

Semi-Final Matchups

#1 __imaj__ vs #5 br0nz3 - Ok so things are finally getting interesting in Div B. We have the top seeded AJ fresh off breezing through the second round to make it this far. On the other side we have Scott the old school vet who really doesn't have the time for this division B bullshit. Well while both of you might move up to div A for your efforts in the playoffs this season only 1 will gain automatic qualification into the prize trny and become a finalist. There isn't a whole lot to choose between these two... AJ took the regular season meeting which is what earned him his seeding. In the other two instances where re-matches have occurred in the playoffs the group stage loser has prevailed. So as hard as it is to bet against the top seed here I'm going to have to go with the grain and pick Scott to win a close one.

9-6 Scott Result - 9-5 Scott

#2 fv_arctic vs #6 skilled_banger -

no pred Result - 7-4 Chip

Finals

#5 br0nz3 vs #2 fv_arctic - Ok so we're into the finals of division B and no one should be surprised by our two participants. Scott and Chip likely would have been div A players had this not been their first seasons in SSCam as well as just getting back into cam comps fairly recently. So instead of the div A grind they get rewarded with invites to the prize tourney as finalists here. I honestly don't know too much about styles in this matchup but just based on ss tourney matchups I think Chip is probably the better, more creative shooter. Scott is definitely no slouch as he's showing some skills making it this far, breezing through AJ in the semi-final round. Hopefully this is a competitive matchup and both guys will show up on their game. I'm going to have to just go with my original hunch and predict Chip as the div B champ in a close set.

9-7 Chip

SSCam Season 3 Div A Playoff Preds

So essentially this is the moment I've been looking forward to most for this season. Div A playoffs are a showcase of the top players from SSCam's highest quality and most well attended season. Honestly I don't see any bad matchups and advancing even one round here will be a good showing. Final 4 gets you an invite into SSCam's prize tourney where 100 dollars will be on the line. Bottom half preds were done by myself (Jon, Drunk_Canuck), Cam (legend.skillz) makes an appearance predicting the top match only and Trav (__Trav__) took care of the last 3. Good luck to all.

Rd 1 Playoff Matchups

#1 mr_camtasia vs #16 xsoubanhx - This will be a great match to watch..im looking forward to this one. Pita is a real good player and he's fun to watch. He's got a solid run game and can safety with the best of them. If he wins this match I can see him going far in this but he's got one tough cookie in round 1. Chris is just amazing...I personally idolize this guy. One of the best runners to have played this game. I think this match will be close because I think Pita will be prepared and come in and play some great ypool. Just think Chris will be too much . Vgl guys, have fun.

7-5 Chris Result - 8-6 Chris

#8 Drunk_Canuck vs #9 legend.skillz - Both are good players here with different primary strategies. Jon's a bit smarter, less of a risk taker where Cameron's going to rely on running more than anything. So what will make or break this match is basically whether Cameron is finishing runs, or leaving easy clean-ups for Jon. Jon can run as well don't get me wrong, but I expect he'll play it slow here and let Cameron try and hang himself with unfinished runs. So really what I expect to happen here is Cameron will probably lose a few games to that, but he's not going to get down to 2-3 balls every time and miss or screw up a leave. It'll usually be with him having 4-5 balls left instead of 2 which is why this should be a close set. My deciding factor is that the number of tables he finishes will be greater than the number of open ones he leaves (2-3 balls left).

7-5 Cameron Result - 7-2 Jon

#4 black_stallion009 vs #13 safdarbandali - What an intriguing matchup. Not a big difference in these two guys' games IMO. As in they play similar, i do think Irfan is the more skilled of the two, and he did beat Ant in groups and somehow took top spot in their group even though him and Ant shared IDENTICAL stats haha. Saf's never really had much luck in cam comps though so I dunno what to say there. Irfan on the otherhand won SS Cam a couple seasons ago. But still I see this as one of those sets though where anythings possible, and going into this match I have to say Irfan already has a slight advantage and any other advantages added is a bonus for him. With Saf, it puts the set closer, with a small, but possible steal from Irfan.

7-4 Irfan Result - 7-3 Safdar

#5 AlmightyWarrior vs #12 hp_king22 - I don't really even watch Sid play, I basically judge him from the wins or losses in his groups. And the funny thing about those is, this season of SS Cam he beat the top 3 players in his group (excluding himself) then lost to the worst two. So i really don't understand that at all. As far as this Don guy goes, he says he's good. Fair enough, but the only person to really back that up was Kenny, and i kinda took it sarcastically because com on, Kenny? he deson't give anyone credit =)). Judging by your stats I wasn't too impressed, mainly because you barely beat Shane and Mina. I had thought you had beaten Derrick, and I was writing that off as Derrick being wounded, when I found out that you took over TJ's stats and the only sets that are yours are Shane/Mina. So hell you went undefeated in your group! But hey you could be really good, but the only way you're going to win here is if Sid plays EXTREMELY bad. And lately he's been pretty consistant so I don't see it.

7-4 Sid Result - 7-3 Sid

#2 the_pool_professor vs #15 pas_killa - In this matchup we have last season's champ Kenny vs an old school well known player in Pas. Pas barely squeaked into the playoffs possibly because of the inactive group but now that he's in there you can't expect him to be an easy out. I haven't really seen Pas on form much lately but he still knows how to play the game. This is a re-match from the group stage where Kenny romped 9-0. As long as Kenny takes this set seriously then he shouldn't have too much trouble because of his more solid all around game. Pas did a great job qualifying for knockout stage but his run this season ends here.

7-3 Kenny Result - 7-4 Pascal

#7 aka_sicc vs #10 A_D_A_M__ - Here is a really interesting round one matchup. Going into the season Ant was one of the top favourites to win the whole competition but coming second place in his group didn't help out his seeding at all. That makes round one slightly tougher for him. While I'd still say Ant is a pretty big favourite in this matchup he is playing against a player who can definitely compete in this set. If Adam gets on a roll he can run with anyone and has the table vision to play smart shots and slow things down when necessary. When Ant is on his game he tends to not let his opponents shoot very often. Adam will have to minimize the mistakes and try to keep up and maybe pull it out in the end. Ant won't kill Adam but it should be a comfortable win.

7-4 Ant Result - 7-3 Ant

#3 stun.shot vs #14 pr0.g0dly - Another good matchup here with Nick vs Mina. Normally I would say there isn't much to choose between either of these two players. They can both hit great shots to get out of sticky situations, have good ball control and they're not afraid to play in safety games. This is a rematch from the group stage where Nick pulled out a come from behind victory 5-4 to help him get this great seed. This should be a really close set but there's no way I can bet against Nick coming off arguably his best group stage in any cam comp. He's a former winner of the comp and looks serious to try to make a run against this tough field. Mina will push him but Nick advances.

7-5 Nick Result - 10-8 Mina

#6 __Trav__ vs #11 toyboy2die4u - Trav is going to be looking to avenge his loss in last season's playoffs after he went out in his first set after earning the #1 overall seed. This bracket is definitely a lot tougher and filled with sharks. Round one won't be easy as Kazi stands in his way to move into the quarter-finals. Trav seems to be more consistent but both players have put up good results in top cam comps. These playoffs are filled with all around players and these two are no exception to that rule. Like most of these sets it'll come down to which player keeps the silly mistakes under control. Kazi has the skill to win this set even if Trav plays great but I think he's a little more prone to giving away easy games with unfinished runs. Should be a great set to watch.

7-5 Trav Result - 7-3 Trav

Rd 2 Matchups

#1 mr_camtasia vs #8 leafed_leafs - Very interesting Round 1 results for both players. Kinda the opposite of what I really expected. Chris is ruthless, one of the best runners you'll see and he's going to play the same no matter what the score is. Jon can definitely hold his own, he could upset Chris if he played really well. They faced off in groups during the season with Chris taking the W, so they both have recent experience playing each other. Should be a tight match, but probably about the same outcome as groups unless some good things happen for Jon.

7-5 Chris Result - 7-5 Chris

#13 safdarbandali vs #5 AlmightyWarrior -

no pred Result - 7-3 Sid

#15 pas_killa vs #7 aka_sicc - Ok so this definitely looks like the mismatch of the secound round with Pascal vs Ant. Pascal was pretty much lucky to qualify for the playoffs but then showed he belonged with a great 7-4 win vs Kenny. Ant qualified with a pretty low seed but I'd say he's getting a pretty sweet draw here after taking out Adam in the first round. I don't see anyone now getting in Ant's way on the way to the finals in this competition as the top seeds on this half of bracket are dropping. The win against Pas isn't a guarantee I know that Pascal has beaten Ant before in set play and he definitely won't be initimidated by any of Ant's antics. I think Ant wins big but don't count Pas out completely.

7-3 Ant Result - 7-1 Ant

#14 pr0.g0dly vs #6 __Trav__ - Mina and Trav will both go into this matchup thinking they've got a great chance at advancing to semi-finals and a prize tourney entry. Trav definitely had the much stronger season as evidenced by his #6 overall seed in this bracket. On the other side Mina just barely squeaked into playoffs and took out a defending champ in Nick. Neither player will be intimidated in this matchup by any style as they're both experienced in many other comps. The edge will go to the guy who makes the least mistakes and I think that's going to be Trav in this matchup. Should go down to the wire.

7-5 Trav Result - 8-6 Trav

Rd 3 Matchups

#1 mr_camtasia vs #5 AlmightyWarrior - Winner here will advance on to the upper half of the SS Cam Division A Playoffs bracket. And really either player is capable of winning here.. capable of winning this match or winning this entire season of competition. Chris is a great runner, but tends to give up big leads. With a Rt9, if you give someone an inch well.. they're gonna come back with momentum and steal the set. I've never really watched Sid play, but hey the guy won 8brcam.. gotta be doin something right aye? I'm gonna say though that Chris gets up early here 3-1ish and maintains a +1-2 lead throughout the set and it remains steady like that for awhile, both of them trading runs and cleanups. So really it's all on Sid in the end, because Chris has a poor reputation late in sets.

9-7 Chris Result - 9-7 Chris

#7 aka_sicc vs #6 __Trav__ - Ok don't sweat it guys you will have a prediction before you play. The second semi-final matchup puts two of the big names in the tournament against each other as you might expect. Trav has improved on his upset loss in round 2 from the previous season to make it this far. Ant is in his first SSCam but no one should be surprised that he's made it this far with ease too I might add. This should be Ant's biggest challenge up until now but I honestly think he's on another level. Trav can definitely hang with Ant if he's on his game but when Ant is on his game there aren't too many people who have a chance. I always like to root against Ant because he's like the evil empire (NYY) but his selection of shots and execution seem as if they're on a 200 million dollar payroll. If you didn't understand that reference I'm just saying I can't pick against Ant in this matchup.

9-6 Ant Result - 9-2 Ant

Finals

#1 mr_camtasia vs #7 aka_sicc - Ok so we're finally at the finals of div A. The best of the best. Once again no surprise here... many could have picked these two out as the best two players in the field from the start of the group stage. Ant wasn't challenged at all on the way to the finals here while Chris was challenged in close sets every round. I wouldn't really read too much into that as no one will be running away with this set. This is the first round for either player where I can say they've met their match. Both players are great with english and have great table vision, able to hit tricky banks, combos just about anything you've ever seen in tight situations. Will definitely come down to who is executing their shots and finishing runs (like any set) but these are two of the best around and I'd recommend watching this one if you want to see some top level pool. Ant wins too many comps so I'm going to pick Chris as the winner in this one because personally it's nice to see Ant lose.

10-8 Chris

Season 3 Group Preds Div A

Division A

Ok I know this is everyone's favourite part. These preds were especially tricky because the groups are so tough I have a lot of good players missing out of the playoffs. Most were done by myself (Jon) and Ben (fhm_champion) did Group C. Best of luck with your sets and just a reminder semi-finals or better qualifies you for the year end prize tny.

Group A
pas_killa - Is there a better way to start off a preds section than to start with this guy. Pas is very old school has been around for a while. Played in tons of cam comps with varied success. I'm hoping he is getting back on his game lately because this is going to be a tough competition. Might need to learn how to safety a little more to make the playoffs here but it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

ll_chex_ll - Luiz is a pretty good player, definitely happy to have him in the competition. He's had pretty good success within the comps I've seen lately with decent showings in UCC and 8brcam group stages. He's an all around player who can take advantage of other's weaknesses for sure but he's a little bit inconsistent. With this being such a challenging group wins are going to be hard to come by.

__Trav__ - Trav had a great first season... well at least the group stage went pretty well for him. After an early exit in the playoffs last season Trav will be wanting to better that performance. Another great performance this season will be even more legit with a stronger field. He has a very strong all around game and I see him qualifying for playoffs but definitely won't walk over this group like last season.

Sourwood - Daz is back and in form as evidenced by his semi-finals appearance in the previous season. He's got a tough road just to make it back to the playoffs this season with this gruelling group stage. If he stays on form he should be able to pick up the necessary wins to advance but there's no sure thing here. Should be able to manage a spot in the knockout stage.

the_pool_professor - Last season's champ Kenny really had no challenge through the playoffs winning every set with ease. This season will be a big change. I see him making the playoffs quite easily and challenging Trav for top spot in this group. While Kenny is still one of the favourites to win this entire competition there's no change it will be a walkover this time around.

king_hustler2004 - Last season he pulled out a second round playoff appearance which kept him in the top division for this season. I know King wouldn't have it any other way to be playing against the best but this is going to be a really tough group for him. He has the ability to run a lot of tables which can win vs anyone but overall everyone else in this group has a more well rounded game. Wouldn't be shocked if he wins a couple sets but that's his limit.

Pecking Order - 1.Kenny 2.Trav 3.Daz 4.Pascal 5.Luiz 6.King

Group B
pool.sharko - Mina is in his first effort here in SSCam. He definitely had the pedigree coming into this competition with strong group stages in each of the last two 8brcam competitions. He is a difficult player to play against and can hit spectacular shots to finish tables. His safety game leaves a little something to be desired but he doesn't have to rely on it very often. Playoffs are a possibility here but it's a tough group.

i_always_rape - Shane earned his spot in div A with good performances in the last two competitions qualifying for playoffs with decent seeding both time. This could be his one and only season in div A barring him scraping out at least a couple wins which I highly doubt. I've always been told that my negative predictions will be proven wrong but in this group Shane won't finish higher than 5th.

stun.shot - The last time Nick was put in a group with this kind of talent he responded with an 0-6 run in 8brcam div A. That was probably a fluke but his skill will definitely be tested in this group here. I think last season's finalist is definitely up to the task of at the very least qualifying for the knockout stage but first in the group is doubtful. Nick is going to need to be on his playoff form from the get go and I think he'll know that.

poolist - Derrick is trying his hand in his first SSCam competition. The early favourite to take first place in this group, Derrick is going to give everyone trouble. When he's playing a lot of sets as he is right now he's going to be running a lot of tables. Knows when he has to safety but rarely has to. In the blink of an eye you could be looking at a 3-4 game losing streak and the set is over. Only downside is catching him cold he can leave his opponents open runs galore. Not as if he can't be beaten but he should be a lock for the playoffs.

DOMINATING - TJ had a pretty successful season last season becoming one of Kenny's many victims in the second round of the playoffs. Previous to that set he had been showing some rare form that hadn't been seen in a while. Hopefully he's not too busy and can shoot a little to avoid the rust but he could definitely come out of this group if those runs are going down. His very aggressive style seems to work moreso than not so he'll be riding that wave if all is well. Will be fighting some quality players for a spot though.

fhm_champion - Ben might have surprised some people taking his run in the competition all the way into the semi-finals last season. The reason for that I believe is his steady gameplay. Doesn't seem to change his style too much throughout the set and doesn't let games slip away. There's definitely a challenge in this group to prove that last season was no fluke. I think Ben will scrap out some key wins to grab a spot out of this group.

Pecking Order - 1.Derrick 2.Ben 3.Nick 4.TJ 5.Mina 6.Shane

Group C
streets_d1sciple - Matt Lasko, one of the most annoing players on yahoo pool next to me. He prefers to try and run tables and is a good runner, but lacks consistency at times. However, he is still good and I will not be surprised if he makes a run at this division.

A_D_A_M_ - Adam is a pretty classy player who is above average on most days compared to most players, and when he is hot he can be tough to beat. Look for him to be a tough match for anyone in this group because he can shoot well and play smart.

bromzzz - Stephen is a decent runner on most days, who decides against snooker on most occasions. He could surprise a few people in this division in this group if he runs well. On the other hand, if he does not finish his runs, he will find it tough to win in this group.

mr_camtasia - His name is Chris. He is a fantastic shooter. Once he starts flowing, he gets his noodle going!!! (And it is hard to stop). Expect to see many runs by this guy because he is dangerous. Also, he can play snooker and bank good too, and has virtually no weakness to his professional game play.

leeds_united14 - Jon is also a good player. He can play any type of game he desires and is smart on when he decides to run. If he finishes his runs like he is expcted to, he can make some noise in this group.

TlNO_NICA - Tino is a nice guy. His game style is odd in my opinion, he can play kind of bad, but then out of no where the next set he can play like he is one of the best ever. So obviously he can be inconsistent, and you never know what you're going to get, but he's a decent runner who lacks a snooker game. Nevertheless, he is a good person but I think he struggles in this group.

Pecking Order - 1.Chris 2.Jon 3.Adam 4.Matt 5.Stephen 6.Tino

Group D
mvp_shameful - Last time Sid was in this competition he was a finalist losing to Kevin Season 5 last year. He's back and he's back on his game doing outstanding in competitions of late most notably making a good run in 8brcam's playoffs this season. Sid has a great all around game and has the patience to stick with his mostly conservative gameplans. Should fight with Conor for top spot in this group.

expect.loss - Trio gets his wish playing in his first legit cam comp in a while. While I know he's definitely eager to prove himself against the best it'll be a tall task in this group. He definitely has the talent to get a couple wins out of this group but that'll be his ceiling. His high wire act isn't nearly consistent enough to get by against this quality.

thebezisback - Conor is an often spectacular player who has been in a bit of a funk from what I've seen lately. He's always been one of the scariest players to play against for anyone. On talent alone definitely takes first place in this group. Can play any style but his array of shots is so massive that he doesn't often have to settle for a safety. If he's on his game is a favourite to win this group and the whole competition.

legend.skillz - Cam had some championship aspirations last season that were cut short by Daz in the quarter-finals. Unfortunately for him it only get tougher from here. Even though he won his division last season his chances at pulling the same feat again here are unlikely. While Cam is an excellent runner who can beat anyone I think his game will be a little too one dimensional to take 4-5 wins in this group. Should cruise into the playoffs though barring a big upset.

safdarbandali - Not really too sure the history on this guy but I think he's pretty new to the cam comp world. He's no stranger to set wins in the comps he's played in but he's really lacking any sort of signature win. He definitely has the potential to get hot but until those skills get displayed on the big stage i'm not sold on it. Safdar has an outside chance of qualifying for playoffs but he's in for tough sets from everyone.

Pimpism - Chad has really impressed me with his play in the league and with his showing in the previous SSCam season. This new format will be especially challenging as the group stage will require focus for every match. I think Chad will have to stay patient and rely on his safety game here to have a shot at the playoffs because the run game gets shaky for him at times. If he plays the way he can the playoffs are a possibility but he's going to get some schooling from the top dogs in this group.

Pecking Order - 1.Conor 2.Sid 3.Cam 4.Chad 5.Trio 6.Safdar

Group E
toyboy2die4u - Two seasons ago Kazi was a finalist in this competition. Last season no playoffs at all in a pretty mediocre group. Not really too sure what happened there but he is showing some form in qualifying for the 8brcam playoffs this current season. There isn't really anyone in this group other than Ant who can overmatch Kazi but I think he'll be fighting for the final playoff spot.

mvp_chiddy - Craig had a fairly unspectacular season in the previous one without having his sets finished in the group stage and the highlight being a first round playoff victory vs Shane. Although he's had some pretty strong results in other competitions he hasn't been able to show that he can consistently knock off top players. On talent alone Craig is in the top 3 here but he can't afford to take any sets off.

mvp_fate - This player needs no introduction to anyone who's been following cam comps any time lately. He has been the last man standing seemingly in most of the competitions he enters. Should blast through this group pretty easily, I won't even bother trying to tell you how he's going to do it because that would take up too much space. Probably the only group where I can guarantee a player gets 1st place.

nhanxx - Everyone's favourite story of last season was Nhan's run to the quarter-final round where he pushed Ben to 14 games. We'll see after this season if it was really worth while because this group stage is going to be tough. Nhan has made tremendous strides in his game but to put it together this fast to compete in this group might be asking too much. We were surprised with last season's run so maybe he can surprise us again. Take notes while you're waiting for your turn to shoot in these sets.

sykology - Brent barely made the playoffs last season getting in with two archive wins and even then just barely. He is no stranger to tough groups being a regular participant of 8brcam's div A. He seems to surprise everyone with his success but at the end of the day his name consistently comes up in the playoffs. He'll need to have his mojo going because he plays a type of style that's all or nothing. Might have to vote against playoffs but no doubt it'll be close.

black_stallion009 - Irfan is still an improving set player and he had another solid season with a quarter-final appearance in last one. This will be new territory for Irfan in SSCam as he won't be expected to dominate this group. Far from it in fact, he'll be fighting and will need some quality wins to even qualify for the playoffs. I think Irfan will live up to the challenge and will do work to snag 2nd or 3rd place.

Pecking Order - 1.Ant 2.Kazi 3.Irfan 4.Craig 5.Brent 6.nhanxx

Season 3 Group Preds Div B

Division B

Ok folks the moment you've been waiting for. The section where I give cheers and jeers based on how well you all play pool. The predictions were all written by Jon (leeds_united14) so direct your complaints there. Finalists in Div B will gain an invite to the year end prize trny where you can win money plus doing well in this Division will gain you a promtion to Div A. Good luck everyone.

Group A
dc_sacha - Sacha is back playing SSCam after missing out on the playoffs in the previous season. This season with the split divisions should help him out as no one should overmatch him terribly in this group. He is a player who is always working on his game trying to improve. He's in with a couple tough players but I see him advancing to the knockout stage.

fv_arctic - Probably should be a div A player in any other comp but the late entry got him stuck in this second division. Chip is one of the early favourites to win this whole competition and he's been drawn with one of the other favourites Musti. Seems to know what he's doing from games I've seen and his 8brcam playoff success is more proof of that. I have Chip winning this group with a potential challenge from Musti.

sampler_43 - Brad is a player who I know not too much about. From what I gather SSCam is the only cam comp he's participating in with a little interlg experience too. Last season wasn't very successful being drawn in a tough group. This season definitely looks a lot more promising in the second division. He's hoping to steal a set or two from more experienced players and sneak into a playoff spot.

MaryJane_High - Shelle is back playing in yet another SSCam season. With recent improvements in the competition's field the group stage has been rough over the last couple seasons for Shelle. Always plays her sets and is always improving div B should be a great place to play some more competitive sets. She's been drawn into possibly the toughest group here but I see her winning a couple sets at least and maybe catching a playoff spot.

skilled_banger - Everyone talks about Musti with such high praise but I haven't really noticed anything all that special. Does pretty well in SS trnys which is mostly all I have to go by. I just haven't seen him in too many playoff brackets in cam comps or at least not deep into them at all. Musti should be a playoff player in this competition and will be looking to play his way into Div A for the next season. Musti will grap one of the top two spots in this group should be an interesting set with Chip.

zah1d_rasul - Last season was Zahid's first and he finished it off with only one win in the group stage. Should have much better opportunities to improve upon that this season with the easier group. Not really too sure what kind of player he is but has won less than 40% of games within the lg. Probably a favourite to bring up the rear hoping to steal a set or two for a successful showing.

Pecking Order - 1.Chip 2.Musti 3.Sacha 4.Shelle 5.Brad 6.Zahid

Group B
lawbubba - This man is brand new to cam comps so should be interesting to see how he does. He's a longtime member of ss with occasional success in the lg trnys. Should be a learning experience here to see how sets are played. Not impossible for him to win a set in this grouping but it would be considered a longshot.

lol_lmfao_lmao - Bryan is another player trying to fight his way up to play with the big boys. Div B should be a great way to get himself re-acclimated with the competition. This should be a relatively easy group for Bryan because of the experience edge he has over most of the players in here. The only other proven player in the group is David and that should be the biggest challenge. Bryan's ability as a good shooter and ability to play some safeties will carry him through to playoffs like a breeze.

xlx_whatwhat_xlx - Another brand new player in the SSCam field here. Never seen this guy in any competition/interlg at all so just going by lg stats seems to be a fairly average player. There aren't really too many standouts in this group though so the opportunity is there. Not much information to really back up this prediction but I see him winning a couple sets and at least making it close to a playoff spot.

mr.owner_pwner - Yet another new player to cam comps. Darrien is looking for a different challenge and here it is. He is a player with decent skill seems to do relatively well in tourneys and usually gives me a tough match. He's a good shooter with decent english knowledge and I think he might even know how to hit a safety. Should be right in there looking for a playoff spot and has potential to knock off good players.

true.scrub - Not really too sure what it is about David's game that makes him successful but it's hard to argue with results. SSCam playoffs 2 seaons in a row and also was able to earn a high seed in the div B 8brcam playoffs. Has been a fairly consistent set player and I'm almost willing to say he has what it takes to win this competition. Unlike previous seasons he is going to have to live up to expectations and discard all of his opponents in the group stage. Should be a lock for a playoff spot.

_BIG_J_69 - This group is just loaded with new people and Erik is yet another one. Erik is a pretty good player and I had him seeded as a playoff player going into this season. This group is pretty wide open and I predict a fight between as many as 3 players for the final playoff spot. He should be right in the mix in that fight and I give him the edge to come out on top and possibly take a decent seed for playoffs.

Pecking Order - 1.David 2.Bryan 3.Erik 4.Darrien 5.Wes 6.Bubba

Group C
Hotdude_70 - Rahul told me that he was going to have a better showing in the group stage in this upcoming season and the new div B will definitely make that a possibility. This particular group is still pretty tough though and although I'm not going to say it's impossible for Rahul to make the playoffs it would be a pleasant surprise. Should have more competitive sets in this group but should really only expect 2 wins tops from Rahul.

advanced_n00b - Rees makes his return to the competition after playing elsewhere abroard refining his skills. This should be much different than his last time in the competition as he enters as one of the early favourites in this section. Rees is always improving as a shooter and his strategy game has taken a jump with his willingness to rely on safeties a little more. While Rees is still a bit of a cam comp rookie, his experience stands out here and I have him as a long on a playoff spot.

Top__Dawg__ - Sterlo is someone who I had pretty high hopes for when he first started playing in SSCam. Unfortunately the first two season have been pretty disappointing with subpar group stages. On the plus side this has landed him in div B which should give a better opportunity to get some wins and gain some playoff experience. Sterlo has been working hard with his game playing a lot of races against good players lately. I see that paying off with a playoff spot finally.

xlxkavinxlx - And here is Sterlo's main competition for the last playoff spot in the group. Kavin was impressively a playoff player in his first go in SSCam which was a pretty nice feat considering the field. He got no favours with his grouping in this lower division with no guarantee he'll even make the playoffs here. I see Kavin giving everyone a tough set and definitely has great chances to qualify for the playoffs.

drew_just_owned_you - While Drew is brand new to cam comps he's by no means new to pool. He's been a member in SS for a while and can be challenging to play against. He's a pretty good shooter and that's all you really need to be able to take someone out. I don't see the playoffs in his future but he could surprise a couple people with good sets and maybe even wins.

ll_eskimo_ownage_ll - Another player who could have an argument to be playing in div A this season. As is the case with that group he now becomes a favourite to win the entire div B and move up for the following season. Petey has a ton of interlg experience and isn't new to cam sets either. He's a good, creative shooter and he will play safeties until the cows come home. I see him just barely outlasting Rees in a set and taking the group title.

Pecking Order - 1.Petey 2.Rees 3.Sterlo 4.Kavin 5.Rahul 6.Drew

Group D
dx.fanatic - Well what can we say about Jack. I haven't really seen him do anything good at all in any cam comp of note but at the same time he has played a few which gives him an experience edge. Seems to be an alright player who can win sometimes in big games. While I had him seeded to make the playoffs there's no guarantee as Adam will fight him for that last spot.

astro61200 - Scott is an old schooler looking to get his game back on track here. Has shown he has some good form still with a run in the 8brcam div B playoffs. Should qualify for the playoffs pretty easily in this competition too. Not really too sure how he plays at all pretty much just his name gets him this prediction.

_2hardcore_ - DJ is a name I see popping up all over the place in a bunch of competitions so he's definiteliy getting his repititions in. For his sake hopefully he's starting to pick up some new skills because there hasn't really been any success so far. Last season's poor showing leaves him in div B with more friendly surroundings but I still don't think they're friendly enough. More of an opportunity to build on his 1 set win from last season but that won't be enough to make playoffs.

dr_papsmear_at_your_cervix - Adam is brand spanking new to cam comps but I think he'll expect to do well right off the bat. His latest style includes shooting as fast as he can and smashing the balls around the table in an odd fashion. This works for him sometimes but I've never heard of shooting better, making better choices when rushed. He has a strong chance to make the playoffs in this group but I see him coming up just short.

DEJAVU_AJ - On to AJ! Last season's playoff appearance wasn't enough to keep him in div A. But now he stumbles down into one of the favourite positions in div B which isn't such a bad transition. AJ has loads of cam comp experience with most of it being pretty average. He does however stand out in this particular grouping as an obvious playoff qualifier and will fight to win this group with Scott. He should be claiming a pretty high playoff seed with a good performance here.

PSYCHOJASON - Jason has made his return to SSCam and right on time to be a div B competitor. Was literally the last guy in the field and he'll be looking to improve upon his last performance in the competition. Not really too sure what kind of a player he is but he stays pretty active in ss so I'd have to say he could win a set or two here but the playoffs are a longshot.

Pecking Order - 1.AJ 2.Scott 3.Jack 4.Adam 5.DJ 6.Jason

SSCam Season 2 Playoff Preds

Congrats to everyone who qualified for the playoffs. This should be the most competitive bracket in the comp's history. No easy road to the finals so hopefully all the sets get played and we'll have a deserving champion along with new entrants into the year end prize trny.

Predicions were done by Cam(legend.skillz) and myself(leeds_united14) if you're in the top half of the bracket and you got a bye you were lucky enough to have Cam write up a little blurb about you...isn't that nice.

Rd 1 Playoff Matchups

#1 ypool_machine vs bye - Travis really needs no introduction he is truly one of the best in the playoffs and has earned his #1 seed. I predict he makes it real far in the playoffs and possibly wins it...gl man your rd2 will be a cakewalk.

#16 nhanxx vs #17 xlx_nish_xlx - This match will be interesting because Nhan has really improved. He was dominating in the tnt tourneys before ss pulled out...if nhan plays like hes capable of this could go down to the wire Nish can be a really good player or a really bad player. If Nish shows up to play I see this being a blowout

7-3 Nish Result - 7-0 Nhan

#8 fhm_champion vs bye - Ben is a really good player and he will definately make a run for this aswel. Unlike Trav, Ben will have a harder match in round 2. I can see him making semis easy if he gets past Jon or Brent... gl man.

#9 leeds_united14 vs #24 TrueBoston - This match will be a great match, one of the best round 1 matches. Brent has been playing good ypool and he could definitely make a run at this as well. So could Jon...all around I think Jons better than Brent because Jon seems to know what hes doing. Brent doesn't have any real good strategy but when he's on his game...yeah Brent could take it....I just dont see it.

7-5 Jon Result - 7-3 Brent

#4 the_pool_professor vs bye - Kenny used to be a sicc player. He isn't as good as he once was but he's still got talent to take this cam comp... gl man.

#12 lone__wolf vs #21 king_hustler2004 - This will be an easy match for King. Dave is ok but not anywhere near King's level.

7-2 King Result - 7-4 King

#5 pud'n vs bye - Shannon will have a hard match in rd2 as well with Marco or TJ. Either will give him a fight...Shannon is also capable of running away with this... gl man.

#11 xxl_stud_lxx vs #22 eyye74 - Both players here are really good but I think TJ will be a little too much for Marco to handle. Honestly i like both of these players... very respectable..I just think TJ will be too much and it will give Shannon a better match in round 2 if TJ won.

7-3 TJ Result - 7-2 TJ

#15 UN_NATURAL vs #18 xlxkavinxlx - Judging by the seedings this should shape up to be an interesting matchup. I don't think anyone stands out as an obvious favourite here as Kavin has definitely been improving his game and has shown some good skills through his first cam comp. The experience edge definitely goes to Trey as he's been in this position several times before. Playing for the right to take a crack at last season's champ Irfan I think Trey will take down Kavin in a relatively close set.

7-4 Trey Result - 7-0 Trey

#10 stun.shot vs #23 __imaj__ - Last season finishing 10th in the group stage gave you a bye to the second round of the competition. However this season you get to play AJ which is essentially a bye right? AJ qualifies as one of the 3 dangerous wildcards. Dangerous in that he has the potential to put a good set together every once in a while. Nick has the better all around game especially with his running ability. Should win this round with ease and continue his recent success at the compition. Prize for the winner is a date with Pita in the following round.

7-3 Nick Result - 9-7 Nick

#14 i_always_rape vs #19 mvp_chiddy - Looking at all the first round matchups I'd have to say Shane got the worst luck out of all the higher seeds. Shane had a great season and playing vs him lately I've noticed he's got a lot better with his run game. He actually can finish tricky runs now and then which helps out a lot in sets. Craig got stuck in an inactive group and ended up with a pretty low seed. I think the difference in this set will be Craig's ability to play a very strong safety game while being able to go for the kill when necessary. Shane definitely has the potential for a surprise upset here and will try to keep it close. I wouldn't want to witness the bickering that will surely be going on at this match. Winner will have a tough task with Cam waiting next.

7-5 Craig Result - 7-4 Craig

#13 Pimpism vs #20 billiard_inc - This is a match featuring two players who know each other well. I'm sure each of them is coming into this set thinking they can come away with the win. I've been pretty impressed with Chad's play of late as he's been displaying some great cue control that has been helping him run just about any table. Justin at the same time seems to be getting better with his run game. This set is going to come down to who makes the fewest mistakes for sure and I'd have to give the edge to Chad there. Should be an interesting set to watch as both these guys try to advance past round one in their sscam debuts. Winner might get a bye to rd 3 as Daz hasn't been heard or seen from in a little while.

7-5 Chad Result - 7-0 Chad

Rd 2
#1 ypool_machine vs #16 nhanxx - This won't really be a good match.. This will be like Colt Manning(?) vs Elvis Grbac. I don't know how Nhan beat Nish 7-0 but he did and it gives Trav an even easier set. I don't see this being close @ all.

7-1 Trav Result - 8-6 Nhan

#4 the_pool_professor vs #21 king_hustler2004 - This could be a pretty good matchup but I'd have to say a huge edge goes towards Kenny. He is the better all around player and will take advantage of King's mistakes early and often. King can put some runs together so that gives him an outside chance but I don't see Kenny being tested until the Quarter Finals in this competition.

7-3 Kenny Result - 7-4 Kenny

#5 pud'n vs #11 xxl_stud_lxx - This will be a great match and I'm looking forward to it. Shannon is a solid runner and he's becoming a really good player. TJ is probably more experienced since he's played this game longer and he's still a really good player. I'm going to say TJ will take this.

9-7 TJ Not Played - 9-0 TJ

#8 fhm_champion vs #24 TrueBoston - This match will be a great match, I'm really looking forward to it. Ben is a pretty solid runner and hes not afraid to play safety either...but if he overlooks Brent then I belivee Brent will pull off the upset...you can't overlook Brent... Brent beat a great player in Jon in round 1... Brent has really improved, he's becoming elite in this game....really it could go either way.

7-5 Ben Result - 7-5 Ben

#2 potting_machine010 vs #15 UN_NATURAL - Being the #2 seed Irfan probably deserved an easier secound round matchup than this one. While I think Irfan is the stronger player, Trey will definitely be an opponent who will be able to force some errors with his safety game. Irfan is now a seasoned set player though and I'm sure Trey won't really catch him off guard very much at all. While I think there is an outside possibility for an upset here the defending champ should be moving on to the quarter-final round.

7-4 Irfan Result - 7-4 Irfan

#7 xsoubanhx vs #10 stun.shot - This should be one of the better second round matchups. Pita is arguable the most solid player in ss when he is on his game and I believe could contend to win the whole competition. Nick is a former champ in this competition who has been handed a pretty road to get deep into this competition again. No time to be conservative for either of these players as both posess great running ability. I think Pita's safety game is a little better and he'll make fewer mistakes on his runs. This set could go either way and it might not even get played as Pita has been MIA as of late.

8-6 Pita Not Played - 9-0 Nick

#3 legend.skillz vs #19 mvp_chiddy - This is another one of those matches that is almost too close to call. Both players here are very experienced in cam comps and aren't really strangers to being in the second round of playoffs. Cam is going to try to run Craig off the table and he does posess the skills to do so if everything is going well. Craig can rely a little more on a safety style if he decides things are moving a little too fast. Recent results in UCC and 8brcam during these current seasons would indicate Craig has gotten the better of this matchup but for reasons unknown I'm going to predict Cam to play like his #3 seeding and squeak this one out.

7-5 Cam Result - 7-3 Cam

#6 Sourwood vs #13 Pimpism - This should be a pretty comepetitive set as it sets up a rematch from the group stage with a spot in the quarter-finals on the line. Chad took the first matchup but this is the only set that matters at the moment. Chad has a really good chance at an upset here because of his willingness to play the safety game. This won't be anything like the set vs Justin so don't expect a walk in the park. Daz has been off for a bit but not long enough to make him too rusty I expect him to pull out a very close set.

8-6 Daz Result 7-3 Daz

Quarter-Finals
#16 nhanxx vs #8 fhm_champion - This will be an interesting match, Nhan has pretty much shocked everyone with his win vs Trav 8-6. Can he pull off his 3rd upset? I highly doubt it.... Ben has really good strategy and I think it will be too much for Nhan to handle. I don't think it will be a walk in the park for Ben however I do think Ben will get it done.

7-4 Ben Result - 8-6 Ben

#4 the_pool_professor vs #11 xxl_stud_lxx - The first thing that comes to mind when you see this matchup is the result from the group stage. 9-0 TJ and that's with all the games played. Kenny is definitely going to want to get some revenge pretty badly here and he definitely has the tools to do so. TJ on the other hand is playing some really good pool lately and he's running lots of tables. There's no chance TJ blows this one out too because there will be fewer mistakes from Kenny. Will TJ even give Kenny a chance to shoot. I see this one being really close but Kenny's all around game takes the edge in this race.

8-6 Kenny Result 7-2 Kenny

#2 potting_machine010 vs #10 stun.shot - Here is another great matchup putting together the winners of the last two SSCams. Last season's champ is Irfan and it's looking like he's got a tough road back to the finals with Nick up here in the quarter-finals. Irfan and Nick play very similar styles with both of them being primarily run-first players. Despite Irfan's great run last season and great results versus strong players in other competitions I'd say Nick is the more refined player. Irfan definitely can safety but I think Nick is more likely to use slow play if he needs it. This race will come down to who can finish their runs and who can make the best adjustments througout the race. This one is a toss up but I'll stick with the hot Irfan.

7-5 Irfan Result - 7-5 Nick

#3 legend.skillz vs #6 Sourwood - This could turn out to be a fast race to 7. Both of these players like to run tables and clear breaks. Their style is very similar. Daz might be a little better with snooker or uses it more frequently than Cam, But I think Cam runs and banks in this set better, while Daz coughs up a few more runs. No matter the case, expect to see a good show folks.

7-5 Cameron Result - 7-1 Daz

Semi-Finals
#8 fhm_champion vs #4 the_pool_professor - We are officially down to the final 4. This is a pretty interesting matchup featuring too players with fairly similar styles. Unlike the other semi-final both of these players prefer to play at a more controlled pace, picking and choosing their opportunities wisely. Not that Kenny has been playing badly but he definitely has another gear that we haven't seen in a while. Not too sure how Ben will respond to the pressure here mostly because I haven't seen him this deep into a cam comp before. If both players show up and do their best this set could go for a long time. I'm guessing Kenny will jump out to an early lead and not look back.

9-5 Kenny Result 9-4 Kenny

#10 stun.shot vs #6 Sourwood - Not sure that anyone would have predicted this semi-final matchup as both players have had to knock off higher seeds to make it this far. Once again the former champ Nick is coming up against a pretty hot player here. Daz has been around a lot longer than Irfan in cam comps so that will provide a new challenge. Both players do prefer to run tables and there really isn't too much to choose between either of them. Daz has had some very strong results against Chad and Cam so it's hard to bet against him. I'm done however with betting against Nick as he seems on form and capable of winning a second SSCam title.

9-6 Nick Result - 9-6 Nick

Finals
#4 the_pool_professor vs #10 stun.shot - Well the finals have finally arrived. Both have had great seasons to make it this far. Congratulations to both of you! Now lets get the final match on, shall we? Nick has a mixture of playing styles but usually decides to try and run if he sees any kind of opening, while Kenny will try to run an open table, but will also snooker at the start of games if he wants a change of pace. Overall, it comes down who makes fewer mistakes and I think Kenny has gotten his game back and wins this when it counts.

9-5 Kenny

SSCam Season 8 Preds

Now I realize on the page we have it listed as season 2 but I'm working on having an archive link to show the results from ALL the previous seasons. Thanks to James for doing all the predictions this season. Here they are.

The Groups are finally up thanks Jon and Steven for doing such a great job last season and getting this season going rather quickly. But we got quite a few tough groups and then some top players with some not so top players but this is all opinion based so if you don't like it, sorry, but this is what I have seen since I came back

Group A - This is a very tough group to pick what is going to happen but here goes.
nhanxx - Good player but gets a lot of lucky rolls that help him out greatly. When it comes down to playing other players in the group he will need a hell of a lot of luck to pull a playoff spot. Finish 5th
nullified - Shan has 2 games...his A game and his not so A game. If you catch him on a day where he is just not having his way at the table (he will prolly be playing COD MW2) you can beat him especially if he is distracted. Finish 3rd
zah1d_rasul - only seen him play once, new to cam competitions. Finish 6th
mr_camtasia - Now comes the hard predictions. Chris is a top player and rarely loses in races so it's hard for me to pick against him so I won't. Finish 1st
king_hustler2004 - Although king may pull out the win in this group I just feel he will end up missing out by a point or 2 and cant quite top Chris. Finish 2nd
Top__Dawg__ - Never seen sterlo in a cam competition but he is a good ball striker, I just feel this group will be too strong for him to overcome and make playoffs. Finish 4th

Group B - Pretty even group top to bottom, should be some nice sets here.
TINO_NlCA - Could win this group if he plays all of his sets from what I've noticed in the past he sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. Finish 2nd
billiard_inc - Dr Jekyl and Mr. Hyde here he can possibly be a great shooter...when he is on bud he has a habit of being off and choking when the game is on the line or when the set is on the line. Just doesn't have the closing kills to win a lot of matches versus the better players in this group. Finish 3rd
sampler_43 - don't really know the player but from what I've seen not gonna really be a force to be reckoned with in this group. Finish 6th
ypool_machine - Trav can be a great shot but the key is can if he shows up he has a chance to make some upsets and steal a playoff spot. Finish 4th
seduced_you - This is where it gets difficult in this group there are so many "Good" players that its hard to pick someone to win or lose but at the end of the day I just feel Brandon is not gonna get the luck needed to pull this off. Finish 5th
fhm_champion - Ben is a strong shooter with strong English and closing skills I feel he can win this group if he plays to his potential. Finish 1st

Group C - One of the toughest groups in this competition. Gonna be fun to watch what happens. Almost anyone can win this group.
_bighead - Craig has the ability to win this group if he plays his sets and stops playing poker all the time instead. Finish 1st
xlx_nish_xlx - great shooter but because this is a tough group gonna have to climb a little bit of a mountain to get to playoffs here. Finish 4th
blow_my_rod - Rod has his off days and his on days but he can pull out some victories just not in this group. Finish 5th
potting_machine010 - Irfan in my eyes could be the favorite but he doesn't always finish his sets so if he can finish his sets and beat Craig he will win this group. Finish 2nd
MaryJane_High - I feel bad for Shelle she is a good player but is going to get beaten up hard in this group. Finish 6th
mindset_cue - What bothers me about tanz is when he playes me he is on fire so i'm a little biased with him. But when I see him playing other people he tends to choke but he has won a BLT recently and will do well in this group. Finish 3rd

Group D - The Group of Death so many good players but only 3 can move on.
xlx_ravi_xlx - Have not seen ravi play a whole lot but from what I see he can be a good shooter but in this group he is gonna pull up the rear. Finish 6th
leeds_united14 - Jon is a great player as long as he isn't playing in GIT he will do well and make the playoffs. Finish 2nd
x_xthomasx_x - I should stop saying good players in this group but here is another but I don't think he will have enough in the tank to make playoffs. Finish 4th
running_the_table_so_gg - As I'm writing this he has already beaten Jon and was up 5-0 on boston...Nuff said. Finish 1st
stonedpilot88 - Being in the hardest group cannot be fun. Finish 5th
TrueBoston - If his bangs work the way it usually does he can win several series. But will he beat Jon I just can't see it. Finish 3rd

Group E - Some decent players in this group
lunatic1285 - I cant review myself so ill just predict where I will end up. Finish 2nd
x_dominance - TJ is a good player and if he completes his sets he will make playoffs if Kenny doesn't complete his. Finish 4th
eat_pinaples - Love hope to death but I just don't see her pulling up many upsets in this group. Finish 6th
the_pool_professor - Kenny has the skills to win this group but his mouth and his whining I think will prevent him from even finishing his sets. Finish 3rd
Studmuffin_777 - Never really played with dj so I have to go with what I know and I know there are some good players in this group. Finish 5th
nick_ownzz - Andrea is a great player most of the time craig carried him through most of the doubles cup but nick carried his own weight most of the time. Finish 1st

Group F - Some of SS's Finest in this group
Winterdavid - Don't know a whole lot about david but I know a lot about the rest of the group saw him play in interleague the other day and I think he could finish somewhere in the middle. Finish 5th
busted_open - If shane plays and thats a big if because I don't see him around a whole lot he could make playoffs. Finish 4th
xsoubanhx - When pita plays he is good but when pita coaches don't ever listen to him. I think that it will be between pita and kazi for the win but since pita is around more I think he will finish his sets and kazi won't. Finish 1st
eyye74 - I guess this is marco the one I know since that's not a common name so he has the ability to push pita and kazi to the limit but will fall just a little bit short. Finish 3rd
Hotdude_70 - Rahul is stuck in a group where his talent just is not gonna get him far. Sorry to say but he will be bringing up the rear. Finish 6th
ToyBoy2die4u - Read pitas and you know why I think he will finish 2nd but he will probably go farther than pita in playoffs. Finish 2nd

Group G - The makeshift group
dc_sacha - played sacha in interleague the other and is not a bad shooter but in this group just wont last long. Finish 6th
UN_NATURAL - where did all the Ica boys come from...well Trey will make this interesting and will make playoffs interesting after he wins this group. Finish 1st
col2ey - Well lets see when he was gummiebear he was really good but since he became corey its kinda fallen apart for him. I still think he can make playoffs out of this group though. Finish 3rd
DreamyGentlemen - Arif, only because there is a big seperation between top and bottom, is why I don't think he can make playoff push. Finish 5th
Sourwood - Daz could push trey and maybe win this group but since I already picked trey to win obviously I don't think this is going to happen. Finish 2nd
BaDcHaD_ - Chad almost got stuck in a really hard group instead he just gets a few really hard players and I just don't think he can overcome it. Finish 4th

predictions done by James (lunatic1285) thanks for the effort feel free to berate them under comments
